The founder was always opposed to (can be re-worded) to opening other locations aside from “La 30 de Marzo” because he felt that the quality would be lost and his reputation damaged. His main concern was always Maintaining the quality his customers came to know. Not until after his death was the second location opened.

Worthy Words
The founder only had 10 pesos in his pockets and the money ($800 pesos) to rent the location (30 de marzo) he borrowed from his “compadre”. The owner of the location took his word to not rent it to anyone else, and the person who lent him the money also took his word to be paid back because he was known as a serious and honorable person.
